To provide our VTU, payment, and reseller services, we collect information that identifies you or relates to your activity on the platform. This includes:

• Personal Identifiers: Full name, email address, phone number, and password.

• Identity Verification Data: Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number (NIN), and government-issued ID details for higher KYC tiers to prevent fraud and comply with regulations.

• Transaction Details: Details of wallet funding, airtime purchases, data subscriptions, utility bill payments, and money transfers.

• Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and login cookies to maintain system security and optimize user experience.

2. How We Use Your Data

Dag Global Limited uses the collected data for the following specific purposes:

• Service Provision: Processing your VTU orders, automating airtime and data delivery, and managing your wallet transactions.

• Identity & Security Verification: Validating user accounts, carrying out mandatory KYC checks, and preventing identity theft or unauthorized account access.

• Compliance & Legal Duties: Fulfilling reporting duties to financial regulators and law enforcement bodies like the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU).

• Communication: Sending transaction alerts, system updates, billing notifications, and platform-related security alerts.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with selected third parties to provide services and comply with laws:

• Service Partners: Telecommunication networks (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile) and utility distribution companies (DisCos) to deliver purchases.

• Payment Processors: Verified payment gateways (such as PalmPay and Paystack) to securely process card payments and bank transfers.

• Government Bodies: Regulatory, tax, or law enforcement agencies when mandated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines or valid court orders.

4. NDPA 2023 Compliance & Your Rights

In compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA 2023), Dagpay respects your rights as a data subject. You are entitled to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

• Rectification: Ask us to update or correct inaccurate or incomplete personal details.

• Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request the deletion of your account and data, subject to legal retention obligations for financial records.

• Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw your consent for processing marketing communications at any time.

5. Security & Data Retention

We secure your information using robust industry standards. All database records are protected with AES-256 encryption at rest, and all web traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3 in transit.

We retain financial records and identity verification data for a minimum of five (5) years in compliance with CBN anti-money laundering regulations, after which they are securely archived or deleted.
